Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester with a strong background in Manual and API Testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in testing SOAP and REST APIs, performing manual testing of software applications, and writing complex SQL queries for data validation. Knowledge of the insurance domain and Agile methodologies is also required.

Required Skills Experience: API Testing (SOAP REST): Experience with testing SOAP and REST APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI Manual Testing: Hands-on experience in testing web applications and ensuring that the system meets functional specifications.

Insurance Domain Knowledge: Understanding of insurance processes and terminology SQL Query Writing: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to validate application data and ensure data accuracy.

Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of Agile principles like Scrum

Key Responsibilities: Perform Manual Testing for web-based applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and compatibility. Execute API testing for both SOAP and REST services, validate the responses, and identify potential issues. Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Work closely with developers and product owners to understand requirements and ensure quality in the software development lifecycle.

Participate in all stages of the Agile process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. Document test cases, report bugs, and track defects using Jira (preferably) Conduct regression and integration testing. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to the software development process and product quality.
