Job Description

As a Claims end-end Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating claims submissions, capturing claim details accurately, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure proper documentation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and validating claims submissions for completeness and eligibility. - Capturing claim details accurately in the system. - Coordinating with policyholders, agents, or brokers to obtain necessary supporting documents. - Evaluating claim merits based on policy terms and conditions. - Liaising with surveyors, investigators, hospitals, or repair vendors for fact verification. - Identifying potential cases of fraud or misrepresentation and escalating appropriately. - Determining liability and admissibility in line with underwriting guidelines. - Calculating claim amounts, applying sub-limits, deductibles, and exclusions where applicable. - Ensuring adherence to internal SLAs and regulatory timelines. - Communicating claim decisions (approval/rejection) with clarity and empathy. - Maintaining complete documentation for audit and compliance purposes. - Acting as a single point of contact for claim-related queries and escalations. - Collaborating with internal teams (Underwriting, Legal, Finance, Customer Service) for resolution. - Driving customer satisfaction through proactive updates and transparent communication. - Ensuring adherence to IRDAI and internal compliance policies. - Identifying process gaps and contributing to claims automation and digitization initiatives. - Analyzing claims trends to recommend improvements in risk management and policy design. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, with 8+ years of work experience in insurance claims, particularly in General Liabilities, Auto/Motor & Direct. Candidates with experience in Subrogation total loss, admin team, Property & Casualty, or Health Insurance are not preferred. Your educational background should include a B.Com degree. Familiarity with IRDAI, underwriting guidelines, and key skills in GENERAL LIABILITIES, PROPERTY & CASUALTY, and INSURANCE CLAIMS will be essential for success in this role. Please note that you will be based in Pune, Mumbai, or Bangalore, and should be flexible with shifts to meet business requirements.,
