Job Description

The responsibilities for this role include understanding the daily work/target provided by the engineer and determining the necessary manpower, equipment, and materials. It is essential to mobilize the required workers, tools, tackles, and equipment at the workplace and supervise and guide workers to ensure the proper execution of work in terms of line, level, and desired workmanship. Seeking guidance from the site engineer or senior engineer for any necessary clarification or direction to ensure the work is done right the first time is crucial. Additionally, ensuring the curing of works until the curing period is complete, monitoring that equipment/machinery is not unnecessarily detained at the worksite, and overseeing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety requirements as per the safety supervisor or steward's guidance are important aspects of the role. Keeping track of material availability at the site, requisitioning materials promptly as per work requirements to minimize wastage, and maintaining housekeeping standards during the day and at all times are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position should have an ITI Civil qualification and possess 4 to 5 years of experience in the construction industry. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and a yearly bonus. The work schedule is during the day shift, and a total of 3 years of work experience is required. Please note that the work location is in person.,
