Civil Site Supervisor

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential construction project in Mumbai. Your role will involve supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, and maintaining site records including labour attendance and progress reports. You will also be required to coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and labour teams to maintain workflow, monitor daily progress, conduct regular inspections, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders for updates and requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise all on-site construction activities as per drawings and specifications. - Coordinate with various stakeholders to maintain workflow. - Monitor daily progress at the site, including civil, structural, and finishing work. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. - Maintain site records and progress reports. - Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify issues. - Manage timelines and support project managers in scheduling and reporting. - Communicate effectively with project stakeholders for updates and requirements. Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction projects. - Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards. - Proficiency in reading drawings, layouts, and project documentation. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and handle on-site issues proactively. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with local construction laws and BMC regulations. - Experience with interior finishing and MEP coordination is a plus. - Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
