Civil Site Engineer

Job Title: Civil Site Engineer Building Construction

Location: TALUKA KHED PUNE NEAR CHAKAN MIDC

Employment Type: Full-time BUT Contract

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee and execute day-to-day site operations for building construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring work progress, quality control, timely execution, material procurement, coordination with contractors, consultants, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute all civil works at site as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedule.

Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Manage labor, subcontractors, and work sequences to ensure timely completion.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers for smooth project execution.

Conduct material estimation, requisition, and coordinate procurement in line with project needs.

Verify and certify contractor bills and measurement sheets.

Maintain site records, drawings, and documentation.

Monitor usage and wastage of construction materials.

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Identify and resolve technical/site issues promptly.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Experience: 1–7 years (for mid-level) in building construction, preferably residential or commercial projects.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of civil construction practices, RCC work, finishing, and waterproofing.

Familiarity with construction drawings and structural detailing.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site management software (optional).

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team coordination abilities.

Knowledge of: Material specifications, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to work on-site full-time.

Should have knowledge of local vendors, material procurement, and cost control.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Two-wheeler license preferred for site mobility. (Not compulsory)
