Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Project Management:
Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout.
Quality Control:
Ensure all work complies with project specifications, building codes, and quality standards through regular inspections.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and ensure the worksite adheres to all legal and health and safety guidelines.
Team Coordination:
Liaise with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow.
Technical Oversight:
Review project plans and technical drawings, and provide technical advice to resolve on-site issues and deficiencies.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit progress reports, site reports, and other necessary documentation to management.
Resource Management:
Monitor and manage project budgets, resources, and material procurement to ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule.

Essential skills and qualifications

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
Excellent knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project planning and management software.
Strong communication and leadership skills for managing a diverse team.
Problem-solving abilities to address technical issues and project challenges effectively.
Ability to analyze survey reports, maps, and other project documents
