Civil Project Manager - University/Medical college

Must be an experienced and results-driven Civil Project Manager to oversee planning, design, execution, and completion of civil construction and infrastructure projects across campus. Expertise in managing complex construction projects within university or healthcare facility environments, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for civil construction projects including new buildings, renovations, infrastructure upgrades, landscaping, roads, drainage systems, utilities, and campus development initiatives
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation strategies, and risk management frameworks
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Prepare detailed estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and technical assessments for proposed projects
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, risk mitigation measures, and occupational health standards
• Prepare financial reports, budget forecasts, and expenditure analyses for university administration
• Conduct regular project review meetings with stakeholders and provide status updates
• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, fire safety norms, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements
• Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and clearances from relevant authorities (building permits, environmental clearances, fire NOCs, etc.)

• Prior work experience in University, Educational institutions, or hospital/healthcare facilities is preferred.
