Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to oversee construction activities and manage the daily operations on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on civil construction knowledge, and the ability to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers and subcontractors on construction sites.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ensure that construction activities are carried out according to design, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor progress of construction work and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Coordinate with engineers, and other construction professionals.
• Allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment) efficiently to meet daily work targets.
• Maintain site records, including daily progress reports, attendance, and material usage.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Resolve problems and delays on-site in a timely manner.
• Inspect work to ensure quality control standards are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 10th / 12th / Bachelor’s Arts & science / ITI or equivalent.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong Knowledge of all layout structure & finishing work.
