Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design & Planning
: Create detailed plans for HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, drainage, and communication systems, ensuring integration with architectural/structural elements.
Coordination
: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems effectively and avoid clashes.
Code Compliance
: Ensure all designs and installations meet local building codes, safety standards, and energy efficiency regulations.
Site Supervision
: Monitor on-site installation, manage testing, and ensure work aligns with specifications and schedules.
Project Management
: Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for MEP aspects of projects.
Troubleshooting
: Analyze and resolve technical issues that arise during design or construction.
Documentation
: Prepare reports, manuals, and technical specifications
An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Civil Engineer
designs, coordinates, and oversees the installation of a building's critical life-support systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) within larger civil projects, ensuring seamless integration, code compliance, efficiency, and sustainability, working with architects and contractors from concept to completion

Preferred candidate profile

Education
: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical.
Technical Skills
: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing design.
Analytical & Math Skills
: Strong grasp of math and analytical skills for calculations, budgeting, and problem-solving.
Soft Skills
: Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
