Role & responsibilities

Civil Engineering Coordinator

  • Coordinate between site engineers, consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and execution of works.
  • Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
  • Track progress against approved timelines and report delays.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs for clarity and constructability.
  • Issue drawings to site teams and ensure correct revisions are followed.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Collect daily progress data and prepare progress reports.
  • Maintain site records such as work progress, measurements, and material consumption.
  • Track material requirements and coordinate with procurement/store teams.
  • Assist in preparation and verification of running account (RA) bills.
  • Coordinate meetings with clients and consultants.
  • Maintain project files, drawings, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and project handover.
