Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare
2D drawings
,
3D models
, and
detailed architectural plans
using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or related software.
Convert conceptual sketches into
accurate technical drawings
and working plans.
Assist architects in developing
design proposals
, space plans, elevations, and sections.
Modify and update drawings based on feedback from senior architects or project managers.
Ensure all drawings are prepared according to
company standards
,
statutory requirements
, and
building codes
.
Coordinate with internal teams (MEP, structural, interior) to incorporate cross-discipline inputs.
Maintain proper documentation, version control, and filing of drawings.
Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications and revisions when required.
Perform basic quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs (if required).
Participate in design discussions and provide drafting support throughout project phases.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(mandatory).
Experience with
Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar software
(preferred but not mandatory).
Understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and drafting standards.
Ability to interpret architectural concepts and convert them into precise drawings.
Good knowledge of
building materials
, basic design codes, and site practices.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
Ability to work under supervision and meet project deadlines.
