Civil Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed

  civil site design drawings

  using AutoCAD or any other Civil 3D software for industrial, pharmaceutical, and/or data center projects.
• Prepare and modify

  site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, drainage designs

  , roadways, and erosion/sediment control drawings.
• Generate

  surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors

  , and pipe networks using Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with civil engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate representation of design intent.
• Interpret and incorporate

  survey data, geotechnical reports

  , and environmental constraints into design work.
• Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, as well as client specifications.
• Participate in

  design reviews, clash detection meetings

  , and assist in resolving design issues.
• Support the creation of

  construction documentation

  , including quantity take-offs and as-built drawings.
• Maintain project documentation and adhere to

  quality control standards

  .
• Mentor junior designers or drafters as needed.
  

Requirements:

• 6 to 13 years

  of experience in civil design using

  AutoCAD

  or

  any other Civil 3D software

  .
• Proven experience working on

  Industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Data Center

  site development projects.
• Strong knowledge of

  grading, drainage, utility layout

  , and

  earthwork design

  .
• Familiarity with applicable

  codes, standards, and permitting processes

  .
• Ability to read and interpret

  engineering drawings, topographic surveys

  , and specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
