As a Sales Manager in our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of distribution and market share in your assigned area of operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring high visibility and accountability through extensive sale of our products. You will be expected to identify and recruit a sales team that aligns with the business objectives and drives success in the market. In this role, you will need to plan the market size, span, and geographies for Assistant Sales Managers (ASMs) and devise effective methods for communicating plans and targets to the team to minimize the gap between expectations and delivery. Monitoring quality parameters as per management guidelines and conducting audits on acquisitions and sales completed by the team will also be part of your duties. One of the key aspects of this position is people management, as you will be leading a large team comprising 5-10 ASMs and over 200 indirect employees. It is essential that you possess good networking capabilities and are willing to travel extensively within your specified area. Your skills in coaching, mentoring, and quick learning will be instrumental in your success. To excel in this role, self-starters who take ownership and are adept at navigating ambiguity will be highly valued. A passion for working in fast-growing firms, the ability to articulate complex solutions to customers, and proficient sales and negotiation skills are also essential. Previous experience in quota-driven sales is a must. As a Graduate or Postgraduate, you meet the educational requirements for this position.
