Citrix Support Engineer

As a Citrix Support Engineer, you will be responsible for working with Architecture Teams and application development teams to deliver appropriate infrastructure solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating design documentation in accordance with standards and obtaining signoff from Architects. - Configuring and implementing XenApp/XenDesktop Infrastructure. - Configuring Server Hardware and Virtual Infrastructure. - Building Windows Servers. The position requires the following qualifications and skills: - Proven expertise in solution and design of infrastructure projects. - Familiarity with Virtualization concepts (VMware), Virtualized Infrastructure Planning & design of Virtual Data Centre. - Experience in managing, supporting, and architecting large, complex Citrix & VMware solutions. - Proficiency in using VMware scripting tool kits to automate virtual environment operations. - Design, migration, and implementation experience in Citrix & VMware solutions. - Experience with P2V/V2V migrations and exposure to relevant tools. - Microsoft Windows System administration skills. - Knowledge in Active Directory Configuration and Management. - Development and maintenance of installation and configuration procedures. - Experience with HP, Cisco, and Dell Rack & BladeSystems. - Ability to resolve technical issues through research, reproduction, and troubleshooting. - Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking stack. - Strong customer relationship development and influencing skills.
