Cisco ACI Network Engineer

As a Cisco ACI L3 Engineer, your role will involve designing and implementing L3Out configurations within the ACI fabric. This includes setting up routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, configuring VRF-lite, and integrating with external networks. Your responsibilities will also include troubleshooting complex network issues, monitoring network traffic for potential bottlenecks, and creating technical documentation related to ACI configuration and troubleshooting procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement L3Out configurations within the ACI fabric - Troubleshoot complex network issues related to the ACI fabric and external network integration - Monitor network traffic and provide recommendations for capacity upgrades - Create and maintain technical documentation for ACI configuration and troubleshooting procedures Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, including APIC, leaf and spine switches, and L3Out configurations - In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP - Solid understanding of networking concepts like VLANs, VXLAN, and IP addressing - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences - CCNP or CCIE certifications preferred In addition to the above responsibilities, you may also be involved in tasks such as configuring L3Outs, managing External Endpoint Groups (EPGs), defining contracts for communication control, troubleshooting L3Out connectivity issues, and integrating the ACI fabric with external devices. The role may also include assisting in network migration to the ACI fabric, participating in design workshops, and providing Level 3 support for the ACI fabric and its components.,
