Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Cinematographer to join our production team. As a Cinematographer, you will be responsible for capturing visually stunning and compelling images that enhance the storytelling of our projects. Your expertise in camera operation, lighting techniques, and composition will be crucial in bringing our creative vision to life on screen. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic eye, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with directors, producers, and other crew members.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with directors and other key stakeholders to understand the visual requirements of each project.
• Develop and execute creative concepts for lighting, camera movement, and shot composition.
• Select appropriate equipment, lenses, and camera settings to achieve desired visual effects.
• Operate cameras and related equipment proficiently during filming, ensuring smooth and precise shots.
• Set up and adjust lighting equipment to achieve desired mood and atmosphere for each scene.
• Work closely with the art department to ensure sets and locations are camera-ready and visually appealing.
• Manage the camera and lighting crew, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in cinematography.
• Maintain and care for all camera and lighting equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with post-production team to ensure continuity and consistency in the visual style of the final product.
• Adhere to production schedules and budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cinematographer in film, television, or commercial production.
• Proficiency with a variety of camera systems, such as RED, ARRI, Sony, etc., and related accessories.
• In-depth knowledge of lighting techniques, including natural, artificial, and studio lighting setups.
• Strong understanding of composition, framing, and visual storytelling principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements and schedules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cinematography, Film Production, or a related field (preferred).
• Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work as a Cinematographer.
