Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Chef with expertise in authentic Chinese cuisine, including wok cooking, sauces, gravies, noodle & rice preparations, dim sum, and regional Chinese flavours. The ideal candidate must deliver high-quality dishes with speed, consistency, and proper hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes (wok, gravy, rice, noodles, starters). Maintain authentic flavours, texture, and presentation according to restaurant standards. Ensure all food items are prepared fresh and stored properly. Manage kitchen section operations, including mise-en-place and stock control. Maintain cleanliness, sanitization, and safety in the kitchen at all times. Coordinate with Commis and Helpers for smooth kitchen workflow. Monitor food quality, portion size, and minimize wastage. Follow SOPs for taste, hygiene, and restaurant standards. Handle special requests, new menu development, and seasonal dishes when required.
