Child Psychologist

As a Child Psychologist at our organization, your role involves performing parent counseling and grievance redressal. You will be responsible for recognizing clients who can benefit from ABA and counseling parents for enrollment. Planning and conducting ABA assessments, taking daily cold probe data, and creating assessment reports and IEPs for clients are also part of your responsibilities. You will manage negative behavior, ensure instructional control, and report any concerning behaviors for intervention planning. Collecting data to track progress, managing therapy materials, and coordinating with other professionals for therapy goals alignment are essential tasks. Additionally, ensuring generalization and maintenance of achieved skills, managing group sessions, and adding new goals to the plan are key responsibilities. Other skills required for this role include a good understanding of psychology, proficiency in using Google Sheets and Docs for data correction, quick responses to maintain instructional control, willingness to engage in physical play with learners, creativity in resource utilization for therapy, and effective communication with parents. Being open and inviting yet strict, praising learners enthusiastically, addressing parent queries, and staying updated on ABA knowledge are essential qualities.
