This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Business Development Executive located in Thane. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, managing client accounts, and fostering strong business relationships. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting for potential clients, maintaining a pipeline of leads, developing strategic sales plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. You should also be ready for intercity travel, etc. Key Responsibilities: Develop SOPs and protocols. Identify potential customers, nurture the leads and close. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for the Co-Founder at Chiefex Technologies Pvt Ltd. As the Co-Founder - Business Development, you’ll lead our sales and growth strategy, driving customer acquisition and revenue for our SaaS ERP and custom web applications. This role offers a unique profit-sharing or investment-based compensation model for upto one year and converted to equity, ideal for entrepreneurial candidates willing to invest time, effort, or capital for significant returns as we scale. You’ll work closely with the founder to build partnerships, close high-value deals, and establish a high-performing sales team. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Sales : Identify and pursue SME leads (5-50 employees) in retail, manufacturing, and services, using outbound strategies (cold emails, LinkedIn, calls) and local networking (e.g., FICCI, TiE events). Achieve 10-15 deals/month, targeting ₹50-75 lakh in annual contract value (ACV). Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with SME owners, addressing discount requests (e.g., 30-40% off) by emphasizing ROI and offering value-adds like free setup. Market Expansion : Develop strategies to penetrate Tier 2/3 cities (e.g., Indore, Coimbatore, Jaipur, etc), leveraging digital marketing (SEO, Google Ads) and local events. Team Building : Recruit, train, and mentor a lean sales team (2-3 BDEs initially), setting clear KPIs (e.g., 5-10 deals/month per BDE) and fostering a results-driven culture. Partnerships & Networking : Forge strategic partnerships with SME associations, tech providers, or investors to enhance market reach and funding opportunities. Metrics & Reporting : Track and report on key metrics (CAC, LTV, churn rate) to optimize sales strategies and ensure cash flow stability. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory). Experience : 5-7+ years in B2B SaaS sales or business development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. Experience with SMEs or ERP sales is a plus. Skills : Strong lead generation and cold outreach (LinkedIn, email, phone). Excellent negotiation, communication, and objection-handling skills. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and analytics (e.g., CAC, LTV). Ability to network at events like India Economic Conclave or TiEcon. Language : Fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi or regional languages is a plus for Tier 2/3 markets.
