Job Overview:

Testing Section (Shooting Gallery)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage a team of firers during small arms firing and trials.
Conduct testing and inspection of small arms to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform calculations of
Mean Point of Impact (MPI)
, grouping, and accuracy.
Interpret and work with
graphs, ballistic data, and machine drawings
.
Maintain and record
daily firing data
using computer systems.
Ensure
safety and discipline
during daily shooting activities in open and 100m ranges.
Achieve daily and monthly operational quality testing targets.

Qualification & Requirements (QR):

Preferred:
Retired Short Service Commissioned Officer (SS Officer) below 35 years of age.
Alternate:
Graduate with
NCC “C” Certificate
and relevant experience in supervising firing/shooting ranges.
Experience:
Minimum
5 years
of experience in an industrial or defense-related environment.
Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of
small arms testing and handling
.
Understanding of
ballistics, firing parameters, and safety protocols
.
Basic computer literacy
for data recording and analysis.

Compensation:

Approx.
1,50,000 per month (CTC)
