Job Summary:

X-Ray Radiography Operator (BARC Level 2)

Role & responsibilities

• Perform

  X-Ray Radiography

  testing on metallic components as per industry standards.
• Analyze and interpret radiographs to identify defects such as porosity, cracks, inclusions, and other discontinuities.
• Ensure compliance with

  BARC Level 2

  certification guidelines and safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance and production teams to ensure defect-free manufacturing.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of X-Ray radiography equipment.
• Follow national and international

  NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

  standards and company-specific guidelines.
• Assist in improving testing processes and training junior radiography technicians.

Preferred candidate profile

• BARC Level 2 certification in

  Radiographic Testing (RT)

  .
• Minimum

  4 years

  of experience in industrial X-Ray radiography testing.
• Experience in

  defense, aerospace, or precision engineering industries

  is preferred.
• Strong understanding of

  material properties, defect classification, and radiographic techniques

  .
• Proficiency in handling

  X-ray equipment, radiation safety measures, and documentation procedures

  .
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality control.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical skills for defect detection and interpretation.
• Excellent attention to detail with

  problem-solving abilities

  .
• Knowledge of

  GOST, ASTM, IS, ASME, and other applicable standards

  .
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to ensure

  radiation protection and regulatory compliance

  in testing operations.
