Amethi Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and certified X-Ray Radiography Operator (BARC Level 2) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality radiographic testing on components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The role requires expertise in interpreting radiographs, detecting internal defects, and maintaining accurate documentation for quality assurance. Role & responsibilities : Perform X-Ray Radiography testing on metallic components as per industry standards. Analyze and interpret radiographs to identify defects such as porosity, cracks, inclusions, and other discontinuities. Ensure compliance with BARC Level 2 certification guidelines and safety protocols. Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation. Collaborate with the quality assurance and production teams to ensure defect-free manufacturing. Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of X-Ray radiography equipment. Follow national and international NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) standards and company-specific guidelines. Assist in improving testing processes and training junior radiography technicians. Preferred candidate profile : BARC Level 2 certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) . Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial X-Ray radiography testing. Experience in defense, aerospace, or precision engineering industries is preferred. Strong understanding of material properties, defect classification, and radiographic techniques . Proficiency in handling X-ray equipment, radiation safety measures, and documentation procedures . Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality control. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical skills for defect detection and interpretation. Excellent attention to detail with problem-solving abilities . Knowledge of GOST, ASTM, IS, ASME, and other applicable standards . Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to ensure radiation protection and regulatory compliance in testing operations. CTC Rs 65000/- per month.
