Chief Quality Officer

With a minimum of 12 years of experience and a B.E / B.Tech in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering, your knowledge of Steel Making Processes and product standards will be highly valued. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the availability, calibration, and reliability of testing equipment, ensuring accurate analysis of materials, and driving compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. Your role will involve spearheading new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, and monitoring key quality KPIs, customer complaints, and audit findings. You will be responsible for implementing real-time quality monitoring systems, ensuring compliance with various standards, and establishing quality data analytics dashboards for decision-making. Technical skills required for this role include a strong understanding of quality frameworks, proficiency in process optimization tools like Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, expertise in sampling and measurement techniques for iron & steel making processes, and familiarity with metallurgical testing methods and product validation. Additionally, working knowledge of ERP systems and digital quality management platforms will be beneficial.
