Job Description

Lead and coordinate land acquisition activities for large-scale infrastructure projects, including railway and highway construction
Liaise with government authorities, revenue departments, and stakeholders to facilitate timely acquisition and possession of land
Provide legal and strategic advice on land-related matters including title verification, compensation, resettlement, and rehabilitation
Ensure compliance with land acquisition laws, policies, and statutory requirements at the central and state levels
Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth project execution by addressing land-related issues and clearances
Manage communication and negotiation with landowners, local authorities, and administrative bodies
Support legal teams in preparing documentation and submissions related to land and property disputes
Represent the organization in meetings with government departments, local administration, and project stakeholders
Maintain updated records and reports on land acquisition progress, approvals, and issues
Contribute to project planning by identifying land risks and proposing mitigation strategies
Assist in due diligence for land parcels required for infrastructure development
