Job Title: Chemical Etching Technician / Engineer

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating and maintaining the chemical etching process used to produce printing plates, name boards, and metal components. Ensures quality, precision, and safety in all etching operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and operate etching machines and chemical baths.

· Mix, monitor, and maintain chemical solutions.

· Handle acids, alkalis, and solvents safely using PPE.

· Inspect etched parts for quality and accuracy.

· Maintain logs, chemical levels, and equipment cleanliness.

· Follow safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications:

· ITI / Diploma in Chemical or Printing Technology.

· 1–5 years’ experience in printing, etching, or metal finishing.

· Knowledge of etching chemicals (ferric chloride, nitric acid, etc.).

· Attention to detail and strong safety awareness.

Working Conditions:

· Factory environment with exposure to chemicals and fumes.

· PPE required; may involve shift work.

Salary:

₹18,000 – ₹45,000 per month
