An Chemical Engineer is responsible for designing, constructing, and managing facilities that extract concentrated flavor and aroma compounds from spices and botanicals. The role covers the full production process, from raw material handling to final product output.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Design & Layout: Plan efficient, safe, and compliant plant structures.
Equipment Selection: Choose and integrate specialized machinery (e.g., extractors, evaporators, dryers).
Process Control: Implement systems to monitor and optimize extraction processes.
Quality Control: Ensure purity, potency, and safety of oleoresins.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Oversee equipment upkeep and resolve technical issues.
Automation: Introduce technologies to improve process efficiency and reduce labor.
Team Collaboration: Work with engineers, scientists, and operators for seamless operations.

Plant Types:

Spice oleoresins (e.g. turmeric)
Herbal extracts (e.g., fenugreek, capsicum)
Combined essential oil and oleoresin extraction plants
