As a ChatBot Cloud Expert Engineer, your role involves progressing the development and support of the Chatbot platform to create solutions that better serve the business and customers. You will work collaboratively with the Chatbot team, identifying challenges, researching solutions, proposing approaches, conducting pilots, and supporting solutions through to implementation. Your responsibilities include: - Ensuring the Chatbot platform remains supportable, flexible, and aligned with the original design principles. - Providing 2nd line operational and engineering platform delivery support for all Chatbot services and environments, including troubleshooting key areas of the Chatbot stack. - Involvement in all areas of the Chatbot product, owning varied stories across the entire Chatbot stack through to completion. - Collaborating with other Chatbot Engineers to deliver solutions through paired programming activities and test-driven development. - Working towards engineering innovative solutions aligned with the Chatbot Product Roadmap using low cost, low maintenance open-source technologies. - Keeping up to date with the latest news within the chat community and your area of expertise to support the evolution of the Chatbot service. Your skills and experience should include: - 6-9 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with expertise in software delivery in agile methodologies. - Deep knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudFront, and Elasticsearch. - Strong networking core concepts understanding. - Familiarity with Serverless Architecture and AWS offerings. - Proficiency in Terraform and/or CloudFormation, Unix Scripting, Python, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and container technologies. - Working knowledge of APIs, caching, messaging, and majoring in programming languages/frameworks like NodeJS and Python. - Additional knowledge of Javascript/Typescript, TDD, pair programming, and interest in tackling challenging problems. Qualification Required: - B.E/B.Tech in IT/Computers-Software field.
