Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the monthly close activities for the areas in scope which includes reviewing, analysing, and ensuring accuracy of numbers reported and adherence to group reporting policies and deadlines.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate for the preparation of regulatory reporting
Support month-end and year-end financial closure process. Drive monthly hard closing.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Preparation of monthly & quarterly regulatory filing for the entities in scope, responsible for the end-to-end financial annual audited accounts
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Controller duties as necessary
Build and maintain detailed knowledge and understanding of the businesses and processes to enable delivery of meaningful financial packages information to Financial Controllers and key stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies

Chartered Accountant with hands on experience in Ind AS based accounting
At least 4+ years of prior experience in Big4 or a mid-size company preferably having article ship experience in Big 6 firm
Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
Experience of working with systems : SAP, Tally will be an added advantage
Knowledge of IND AS, best practice controls and practical application
Ability to work independently and as a team, adapt to change and multi-task in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
Self-motivated and able to work under time pressure with accuracy and commitment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
