Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the finance team under supervision of Finance Head and manage the daily financial operations of a 25+ year FMCG distribution business.
Handle budgeting, work closely with other teams, solve issues quickly, and ensure expenses and vendor payments are processed on time.
Assist in coordinating with the bank for day-to-day requirements, including submitting stock statements.
Handle core finance team and ensure books of accounts are prepared on time for statutory audit.
Prepare cashflow statements, financial statements, MIS reports, and basic financial analysis.
Reconcile customer ledgers and make sure records are accurate.
Review
aged receivables
with the internal team and follow up for timely collections.
Set up and introduce new
internal control measures
to strengthen processes.
Conduct regular and surprise audits to maintain discipline and correctness.
Handle GST work such as reconciliations, audits, and filing of annual returns.
Negotiate pricing with vendors and interest rates with bankers; approve admin-related expenses.
Manage finance operations for
50,000+ customers
and
1,00,000+ invoices every month
.
Work with E-commerce and Modern Retail partners like Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Instakart, Apollo, Reliance, Grace, Pothys, and Saravana Stores.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 3 years of experience in similar work.
Should be willing to commit to the organisation for
35 years
.
