Job Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IND AS).

    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

    • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.

  2. Balance Sheet Management:

    • Manage and maintain balance sheets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

    • Monitor liquidity, cash flow, and financial health of the organization.

    • Perform variance analysis and reconcile discrepancies.

  3. Taxation and Compliance:

    • Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filing of tax returns (Income Tax, GST, etc.).

    • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and deadlines.

    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants as required.

  4. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

    • Conduct profitability analysis and cost management initiatives.

    • Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.

  5. Internal Controls and Audit:

    • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

    • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and operational efficiency.

    • Recommend improvements in processes and controls.

  6. Management Reporting:

    • Prepare management reports and presentations on financial performance.

    • Provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

  7. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

    • Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting and disclosure obligations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8+ years of experience in the real estate sector.

  • Proven experience in managing balance sheets, financial reporting, and compliance.

  • Sound knowledge of IND AS, tax laws, and regulatory framework applicable to real estate.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
