Role Overview:

As a CFD Engineer at Hylenr Technologies, you will play a critical role in the development, validation, and application of proprietary CFD tools used for simulating complex phenomena such as gas explosions, cooling systems, and magneto hydrodynamic (MHD) flows. You'll collaborate closely with software developers, scientists, and product engineers to enhance the accuracy, usability, and performance of our simulation platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and validate CFD solvers for high-fidelity simulations of reactive and non-reactive flows.

• Integrate advanced visualization features using VTK, Paraview, and custom post-processing tools to enhance user insight.

• Develop automation pipelines and Python-based APIs for simulation setup, validation, and reporting.

• Solve complex engineering problems across domains such as explosion dynamics, thermal management, and plasma/fluid interactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).

• Maintain and improve internal CFD tools, ensuring robustness, scalability, and usability.

• Document methodologies, validation studies, and new features in collaboration with technical writers and engineering leads.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Computational Engineering.

• 5 years of experience in CFD software development and solver validation.

• Proficient in Python and Mat lab for simulation scripting, automation, and data analysis.

• Hands-on experience with CFD tools: SmartCFD, FLACS, OpenFOAM, Ansys Fluent.

• Strong grasp of numerical methods, turbulence modeling, and multiphysics simulations.

• Expertise in visualization tools: VTK, Paraview, Tecplot, Sigmaplot.

• Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks) and mesh generation workflows.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and project tracking tools (Confluence, Jira).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) simulations or plasma flow modelling.

• Prior work on proprietary CFD toolchains and in-house codebases.

• Understanding of software performance optimization and high-performance computing (HPC). • Familiarity with integrating CFD tools into multi-disciplinary simulation workflows.
