Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, located in Bhubaneswar. The Certified Ophthalmic Assistant will perform day-to-day tasks such as assisting ophthalmologists with patient examinations, performing diagnostic tests, and managing patient care. Responsibilities include taking patient histories, using and maintaining ophthalmic instruments, conducting fundus photography, and accurately documenting patient information. The role also involves assisting in minor ophthalmic procedures and providing patient education on eye care.

Qualifications

• Optometry skills and knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience with Fundus Photography and ophthalmic diagnostic tests
• Proficiency in Scribing and documenting patient information
• Understanding of Medicine relevant to ophthalmic patient care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
• Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or equivalent
