Adhiparasakthi Dental College And Hospital is looking for Cell Culture - Lab Technician to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
Perform aseptic handling and routine culture of mammalian, plant, or microbial cells (as applicable).
Thaw, revive, expand, passage, and cryopreserve cell lines.
Monitor cell morphology, viability, growth characteristics, and contamination status.
Maintain detailed cell culture logs, batch records, and inventory of cryovials.
Prepare growth media, buffers, supplements, and specialized reagents.
Ensure proper sterilization using autoclaving, filtration, and aseptic techniques.
Maintain inventory of cell culture consumables and report shortages.
Assist scientists in executing cell-based assays (e.g., viability assays, transfection, cytotoxicity, proliferation, differentiation).
Conduct basic analytical techniques such as microscopy, hemocytometry, ELISA, PCR, or Western blot (depending on lab).
Collect, record, and organize data for analysis.
Operate and maintain incubators, biosafety cabinets, CO incubators, centrifuges, microscopes, and cryogenic storage equipment.
Perform routine calibration, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report malfunctions.
Follow SOPs, GLP/GMP standards (if applicable), and safety regulations.
Document all procedures, observations, and results accurately in lab notebooks or digital systems.
Ensure compliance with biosafety guidelines (BSL-2 or relevant level).
