CCTV & Alarm Installation Technician

As a CCTV & Alarm Installation Technician at Rudra Shield, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining security systems for our B2C clients. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations and high-quality security setup to meet our customers" needs. Your key responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and related security equipment. You will perform network setup, troubleshooting, and optimization for security systems, as well as conduct site assessments to determine the best placement of security devices. Ensuring the seamless integration of security systems with existing network infrastructure and providing technical support and maintenance services post-installation will be essential. Additionally, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in security technology and collaborating with the sales and operations team for efficient project execution will be part of your role. You will also train customers on system usage and maintain records of installations, service requests, and troubleshooting activities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Networking, Electronics, IT, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in installing CCTV and alarm systems. Strong knowledge of IP cameras, DVR/NVR setups, access control systems, and alarm door systems is required, as well as experience with networking protocols, routers, and wireless security setups. Your ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in security systems, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills, will be critical. Being able to work independently, handle multiple client projects, and preferably possessing a valid driver's license for on-site visits are also desired qualifications.
