Job Description

Role Overview: At Capgemini Engineering, you will play a crucial role in promoting and applying commercial best practices to drive value from client engagements. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with contracts, providing advice on commercial and contractual matters, and managing the day-to-day administration of accounts. You will work closely with the delivery team to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled, risks are mitigated, and costs are optimized. Key Responsibilities: - Promote and apply commercial best practices throughout client engagements - Ensure compliance with contracts and provide advice on commercial and contractual matters - Guide the delivery team on contractual obligations and provide advice and guidance - Maximize revenue and margin, reduce costs, and suggest options to drive out costs - Manage and resolve conflicts to avoid disputes escalating - Lead negotiations with internal and external customers for scope changes and contract renewals - Draft contractual documents and set up contract and commercial management processes - Advise delivery leadership on managing contractual scope and strategic risk - Monitor and manage contract compliance, resolve contractual issues, and maintain the contract through efficient change management - Drive contract governance with third-party suppliers and client counterparts - Monitor and report on contract and commercial matters - Engage with the delivery team on commercial issues and ensure optimum financial performance - Manage contract changes and keep pricing schedules updated - Support account in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication skills - Thorough understanding of key legal, financial, and delivery principles - Expertise in managing global contracts - Extensive experience in managing third-party contracts - Experience in dealing with senior client and supplier representatives - Significant contract management experience in post-sales environment - Leadership in all contractual matters with internal stakeholders and customer counterparts - Experience in Deliverables and Obligations Management, Dispute Resolution, Contract Negotiation, and Commercial Deal shaping Company Information: Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner with a diverse team of 340,000 members in over 50 countries.
