Job Description Cashier Function: Customer Service / Sales Transactions / Front-End Operations Designation: Cashier Reporting To: BM Location: Something Different Restaurant Pvt. Ltd. (Pirates of grill) Delhi/Noida/Gurugram Summary of Responsibilities: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. • Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with any inquiries. • Operate cash registers, scanners, and POS/PetPooja systems efficiently. • Handle cash, credit or debit card transactions, and provide accurate change. • Maintain accurate records of all transactions. • Bag, box, or gift-wrap merchandise, as needed. • Count Cash in the drawer at the beginning and end of the shift to ensure accuracy. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area. • Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards, or discounts. • Respond to customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate manager. • Assist with stocking shelves or inventory as needed. Key Areas of Responsibilities: 1. Transaction Handling o Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using POS & PetPooja systems. o Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments. o Issue receipts, refunds, and change with accuracy. 2. Customer Service o Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. o Answer customer questions regarding products, promotions, or services.

o Address and resolve basic customer concerns or escalate as necessary. 3. Cash Management o Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts. o Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed securely and accurately. 4. Store Operations Support o Assist with restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. o Maintain cleanliness and order in the cashier station and front-of-house area. o Monitor and report low stock or damaged items to supervisors. 5. Compliance & Policy Adherence o Follow company policies regarding transactions, pricing, and security. o Adhere to hygiene, safety, and loss prevention standards. 6. Reporting & Record Keeping o Accurately record daily transactions and submit reports if required. o Assist in preparing reports for audits or end-of-day reconciliation.
