Job Description

Job Title: CashierJob Summary:We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized and clean checkout area. Key Responsibilities:Greet customers as they enter and exit the store. Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Issue receipts, refunds, and change as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Assist with bagging items and keeping the checkout line moving efficiently. Answer customer questions and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security. Help with stocking shelves or general store tasks as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Honest, dependable, and punctual. Work Environment:Fast-paced retail or service environment. May require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
