At Portea Medical, our General Duty Assistant (GDA) is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to your loved one in the comfort of their home. The GDA will assist with a wide range of tasks to ensure your loved one’s health, comfort, and well-being. These services include: Patient Condition Monitoring: Regular observation and reporting of the patient’s overall health. Medication Administration: Ensuring medications are given on time as prescribed by the doctor. Vital Monitoring: Monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels. Bed Making: Ensuring the patient’s bed is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Diaper Change: Assisting with personal hygiene by changing diapers as needed. Bed Pan Assistance: Helping with bathroom needs for comfort and hygiene. Walking Assistance: Supporting the patient in walking to regain strength and improve mobility. Sponge Bath: Providing a sponge bath to maintain cleanliness and comfort. Ryle’s Tube Feeding: Administering nutrition through a Ryle’s tube when required. GRBS (Random Blood Sugar): Monitoring blood sugar levels as needed. Catheter Care: Ensuring proper care of urinary catheters to maintain hygiene and avoid complications. Body Massage: Offering soothing body massages to promote relaxation and improve circulation. Exercise Assistance: Helping the patient with prescribed exercises to enhance mobility and strength. Personal Care: Assisting with grooming, dressing, and other daily personal care needs. Hygiene Care: Ensuring proper hygiene practices to keep the patient clean and comfortable. Oral Care: Assisting with brushing and oral hygiene to maintain fresh breath and prevent infections. Our GDAs are trained to provide compassionate and attentive care, ensuring the comfort, safety, and dignity of your loved one throughout their recovery.  If Not any of the work you're not aware we are having training session's for you
