Job Summary:The Caretaker is responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness, security, and day-to-day upkeep of a property or facility. The role ensures that the premises are well-maintained, safe, and functional for all occupants and visitors. Key Responsibilities:Ensure overall cleanliness and tidiness of the property, including outdoor areas. Conduct regular inspections and minor maintenance (e.g. replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks). Monitor security of the property; open and close gates/buildings as required. Report major maintenance or repair needs to the management. Oversee and supervise contractors (e.g., plumbers, electricians) when on site. Manage waste disposal and recycling according to regulations. Ensure safety protocols are followed and emergency equipment is accessible. Respond promptly to emergencies and facility-related issues. Keep basic records of maintenance work and supplies used.
