Career Counselor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Career Counsellor with excellent communication skills to guide and convert prospective students or working professionals into our training programs. The ideal candidate should be confident in handling 30+ calls daily, building rapport, understanding candidates’ career goals, and providing the right guidance to help them make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make 30+ outbound calls daily to leads provided.
• Follow up on inquiries through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
• Counsel prospective candidates about various career options and our training programs.
• Understand candidate profiles and suggest suitable courses based on interests and goals.
• Track and update lead status regularly in CRM or spreadsheets.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to calls and conversions.
• Build and maintain a positive relationship with potential learners.
• Coordinate with the training and placement team to ensure smooth onboarding.

Key Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (any other regional language is a plus).
• Ability to handle high call volumes efficiently and professionally.
• Must be persuasive, confident, and patient in dealing with a variety of profiles.
• Prior experience in education/career counselling, inside sales, or edtech is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with CRM tools or Google Sheets.
• A graduate degree in any discipline (preferred: Psychology, Education, HR, or similar).
