Lucknow Posted on May 7, 2025 Position Overview: In this role, the candidate will provide personalized or group career counselling sessions, guiding students and parents on career exploration, development, and job search strategies. You will work collaboratively with students to assess their skills, interests, and values, creating tailored career paths that align with their goals. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of the current job market, and experience in career development or counselling, ideally within an educational institution. Roles & Responsibilities: To guide and counsel students and parents for Admission in Indian and International universities and colleges. Interacting with University delegates for both national and international Schools/Universities. Conduct career counselling sessions with students & parents to understand their career goals, interests, skills, and values. Mentor students and solve queries. Sharing relevant resources with students. Help the students in the application, admission procedures, etc. Participate in educational affairs. Foster a supportive and encouraging environment to help students overcome career- related challenges and uncertainties. Stay updated on industry trends, educational programs, and job market dynamics to provide accurate and relevant information to parents & students. Informing students of potentially helpful career-related opportunities. Required Skills: a) Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and decision making skills. Empathetic and understanding demeanour. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. b) Technical Skills: Knowledge of various career assessment tools, job market data from international market and online job posting. Familiarity with current trends in education, employment, and industry sectors. Experience: Proven experience as Career Counsellor, school counsellor or in a related field within higher education or social services. Minimum +3 years of experience in relevant field will be considered. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Diploma or Certification course in related field is preferred; a Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
