Cardiothoracic Surgeon

*Role Summary*

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic/ thoracic Surgeon with interest in heart and lung transplantation and advanced mechanical circulatory support based at KIMS hospitals, Minister road, Secunderabad.

*Key Responsibilities*

Perform cardiothoracic surgeries and be involved with heart and lung transplant and mechanical circulatory support procedures (LVAD/ECMO) in coordination with the transplant team.

Travel to and operate in regional centres and outreach sites across India as required.

collaborate as surgical fellow with cardiologists, pulmonologists, perfusionists, and support staff in transplant care.

Contribute to research and publications.

Represent KIMS at national/international transplant forums.

*Requirements*

MCh / equivalent qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery with experience in CTVS surgeries.

Ability and willingness to travel nationally, operate in multiple centres and lead mobile outreach surgical teams.

understand leadership, mentor and adapt and deploy team-building skills.

reasonable interpersonal & communication skills; acknowledge transplant medicine involves working within multidisciplinary teams.

Registration with the relevant medical council in India.
