Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Diagnosing Problems: Using diagnostic tools and knowledge of automotive systems, technicians identify the root cause of vehicle problems. Performing Routine Maintenance: This includes tasks like oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Making Repairs: Technicians replace or repair worn or damaged parts, such as brakes, clutches, suspensions, and electrical components. Following Work Orders: They adhere to specific instructions and checklists to ensure that all necessary repairs are completed. Explaining Repairs to Clients: Technicians explain the issue and the proposed solution to customers in a clear and understandable manner. Maintaining Work Area and Tools: They keep their work area organized and tools in good condition. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, electrical systems, brakes, and suspensions. Diagnostic Skills: Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement repairs. Mechanical Aptitude: Manual dexterity and the ability to work with tools and equipment. Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with customers and explain repairs effectively. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work safely in a garage environment.
