Car Parking Equipment Design Engineer

As a Car Parking Equipment Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical design and development of automated and semi-automated car parking systems. Your expertise in mechanical system design, sheet metal fabrication, structural analysis, and manufacturing processes related to parking equipment will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical systems for a variety of car parking solutions such as stackers, puzzle systems, rotary lifts, tower systems, and other mechanical/automated parking equipment. - Create detailed 2D/3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc. - Prepare and review Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation to ensure smooth production processes. - Collaborate with electrical, PLC, and control system teams to integrate automation and safety features effectively. - Provide support to site installation teams by offering design clarifications and resolving technical issues on-site. - Drive design optimization initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and space efficiency of parking equipment. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - 3-10 years of hands-on experience in designing mechanical car parking systems or similar lifting/structural equipment. - Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
