Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our customers. Duties

• Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and technical manuals
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks
• Conduct equipment repairs and perform welding as necessary
• Assemble components and systems according to specifications
• Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment during repairs
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and required services

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair
• Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical documents
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients
• Previous experience in maintenance or equipment repair is advantageous
