Capsules Filling Machine Operator

As a Capsule Filling Machine Operator at Lavanya Healthcare Limited in Dera Bassi, Punjab, your role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and efficient filling of hard gelatin capsules using the SA9 Capsule Filling Machine while adhering to cGMP, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and operate the SA9 Capsule Filling Machine according to the daily production plan. - Load empty capsules and powder/blend into appropriate hoppers and magazines. - Monitor capsule weight, alignment, and sealing during production. - Perform in-process checks, document findings, and ensure compliance with SOPs and BMR. - Clean machine parts before and after each batch or product changeover. - Conduct routine lubrication and minor troubleshooting of machine components. - Record machine parameters, downtime, yield, and other production data accurately. - Maintain hygiene, safety, and GMP standards at all times. - Assist in preventive maintenance and equipment calibration. - Report any deviations, malfunctions, or non-conformities promptly to supervisors or quality team. Qualifications & Experience: - Educational Qualification: 12th - Experience: 13 years of hands-on experience operating SA9 or similar capsule filling machines in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical plants. Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of capsule filling processes and machine operation. - Understanding of GMP, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance. - Basic mechanical skills for adjustments and troubleshooting. - Ability to work in shifts, maintain accurate batch documentation, and focus on quality. - Team player with attention to detail. Preferred Experience: - Experience with various capsule sizes and formulations. - Familiarity with validation and audit procedures. Work Conditions: - Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
