Candid Videographer & Editor

1. Pre-Event Preparation

• Understand the client’s vision, story, and expectations for the event.
• Collaborate with the creative team to finalize the videography style (e.g., cinematic, documentary, candid).
• Visit the venue if required for planning ideal angles, lighting conditions, and movement paths.
• Ensure all camera gear, lenses, batteries, stabilizers, and audio equipment are tested and ready.

2. Event Coverage (On-site Responsibilities)

• Capture natural, emotional, and unscripted moments of people during the event.
• Maintain a non-intrusive presence to record genuine reactions and interactions.
• Coordinate with the team for important highlights like couple entries, rituals, speeches, and key candid moments.
• Adapt quickly to changing lighting, crowd movement, and unexpected situations.
• Work closely with photographers and traditional videographers to avoid frame overlaps.

3. Creative Direction

• Apply storytelling techniques to capture a sequence of events artistically.
• Suggest creative ideas for candid shots (e.g., slow-motion walk, behind-the-scenes emotions).
• Capture B-roll footage and detailed shots (decor, venue aesthetics, emotions, etc.).

4. Post-Event Collaboration

• Share footage with the editing team in an organized manner with proper file names and backups.
• Review key moments and provide input on highlight videos, teasers, and reels if required.
• Maintain quality standards for cinematic editing and storytelling.

5. Client Communication & Professionalism

• Be punctual, well-groomed, and professional in behavior.
• Ensure the client's comfort during videography, especially while capturing personal moments.
• Respect privacy and sensitive rituals or customs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
