Job Title: Cameraman

Job Objectives: To capture high-quality video footage for educational content, events, and promotional material, ensuring alignment with brand standards and academic objectives. Support the creative vision by delivering visually engaging and technically sound videos.

Required Competencies: Proficient in handling professional video cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment; understanding of composition, framing, and movement; attention to detail; ability to work under deadlines; collaborative mindset with creative and technical acumen suited to an academic content environment.

Key Tasks:

1. Filming & Setup

• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage.
• Set up shots with proper framing, lighting, and sound to create engaging visuals.
• Manage multi-camera setups when required to achieve the best output.
• Adapt to different shooting environments and ensure smooth video production.

2. On-Location Shooting

• Travel to institutions, events, or field locations for external shoots.
• Ensure all permissions and setup logistics are pre-arranged.

3. Lighting and Audio Management

• Set up and adjust studio and outdoor lighting for optimal effect.
• Use lapel mics, boom mics, and recorders to ensure high-quality audio.
• Monitor audio-video sync during recording.

4. Creative Input and Framing

• Suggest creative camera angles and compositions based on content.
• Ensure smooth camera movements and transitions.
• Collaborate with Content creators/editor for visual storytelling.

5. Video Asset Management

• Organize and label raw footage properly.
• Transfer files securely to the editing team or storage drives.
• Maintain archives of recorded content.
• Ensure sensitive student or institutional content is handled confidentially.

6. Time and Project Management

• Manage multiple shoots under tight academic timelines.
• Prioritize projects based on content delivery needs.
• Ensure timely submission of footage for editing.
