We guide development teams toward a reliable design of new technology components, such as display, camera, battery and sensors. Through deep investigation and collaboration, we strive to provide customers with an experience of enduring quality through these products so integral to our lives. Description As a Module Reliability Engineer, you will identify high-risk failure modes early in the design life cycle and collaborate with design engineering teams to reduce the risk. You will develop new tests based on the physics of failure and encouraged user behaviours, and deliver test equipment and specifications that are essential to validate the product reliability, and work with vendors to meet reliability requirements. Finally, you will support failure analysis, providing direction based on your evaluation of the test data. 3-5 years of experience in an engineering role that involved hands-on experience M.S. or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field is desired. Strong understanding of the physics behind material and device properties (mechanical, electrical, and optical) Adept in statistical data analysis and clear reporting Have exposure to failure analysis techniques as well as material characterisation tools (SEM, FTIR, CT scanning, etc) Possesses extraordinary problem-solving abilities Capable of auditing a test facility Preferred Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to handle multiple projects at once Ability to complete tests and resolve problems in an unattended manner Dynamic and can-do attitude engineer with the dream to work with a great team and product Flexibility to accept new tasks and the ability to travel freely in Asia.
