Camera Image Quality Engineer

You will be responsible for the design and development of image quality evaluation systems to measure Image Quality (IQ) metrics for various camera applications such as Mobile, Automotive, IoT, XR, and Compute Cameras. Your role will involve both objective and subjective IQ evaluations, covering aspects like color, white balance, texture, noise, details, bokeh, tone/exposure, resolution, and subjective artifacts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop image quality evaluation systems for measuring IQ metrics in different camera applications. - Define image quality validation protocols, generate image/video datasets, and create IQ metrics for assessing and certifying camera solutions. - Develop software tools for lab automation, IQ metric analysis, and IQ report generation. - Prepare image quality evaluation reports and communicate findings to enhance IQ features. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in image processing, computer vision, camera hardware or software development, or related fields. - Proficiency in programming languages like MATLAB, Python, and C/C++. - Knowledge in imaging algorithm development for denoising, sharpening, color management, and 3A. - Deep understanding of image quality aspects, IQ evaluation methodologies, and metrics. - Experience in designing camera IQ lab tests and real-life test scenarios. - Proficient in developing objective IQ metrics. - Familiarity with machine learning algorithms for computer vision or computational photography. - Understanding of camera sensors and modules. - Experience in camera IQ tuning for color, tone mapping, noise, texture/sharpness, exposure control, and white balance. You should hold a PhD or MS/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Image Processing, Image Quality, or Color Science.,
