As an educator at Nehru World School, your role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards and best practices are maintained across all aspects of the school. You will be responsible for fostering a forward-thinking, innovative, and holistic approach to the personal development of students. **Key Responsibilities:** - Accountable for students' progress by understanding their capabilities and planning teaching strategies to enhance their learning. - Demonstrate proficient subject knowledge in relevant subjects and curriculum areas. - Encourage students to take ownership of their work and studies. - Promote high standards of literacy, articulacy, and the correct use of standard English. - Create a conducive classroom environment that supports learning and caters to the physical, social, and emotional development of students. - Utilize formative and summative assessments to track students' progress. - Provide regular feedback to students through oral communication and accurate marking, while encouraging them to act upon the feedback. - Collaborate with parents to ensure students reach their full potential. - Uphold professionalism, ethics, and high standards of behavior both within and outside the school premises. - Fulfill professional duties as required by the Director, Head Teacher, or the Wing Head. **Qualifications:** - B.Ed. qualification. - A degree in PHYSICS from a reputable college (Cambridge/ IGCSE/ IB). - Evidence of recent and relevant continuing professional development. **Professional Experience:** - Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience with senior and secondary year learners. - Successful track record of teaching PHYSICS (Cambridge/ IGCSE/ IB). - Experience in virtual teaching and knowledge of blended learning. - Experience as a class teacher. **About Nehru World School:** Nehru World School is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
